Rain, snow, wind, we get it all around here! Your roof is your home’s biggest defense against the elements. We have committed ourselves to building the strongest and safest roofs in Lawton and the surrounding area. In fact, our crews focus on safely and expertly installing all types of roofing systems.

It’s all we do.

If you’re in the planning stages of designing your new home and aren’t sure exactly what style and roofing system to choose, give us a call. We’ll be glad to answer any questions and guide you into making the right decision. We can also educate you on the value of installing “hurricane clips” even here in the mid-west where we’re as far from the coast as you can get. The added amount of protection from high winds that your family gains by installing them is unsurpassed.

It’s all about style

There are many different types of roofs. A well-planned roof shape has an important role in how it withstands the elements of nature. And, we see them all here in Oklahoma! Well, all of them but a hurricane anyway.

Moreover, it contributes to your home’s energy efficiency and even the resale value.

  • Hip roofs offer excellent resistance to strong winds.
  • Gabled roofs, also called pitched roofs, are triangular in shape. They offer a greater amount of attic space. However, they’re also considered the least wind resistant. Extra bracing in your attic can really make a difference.
  • Flat roofs make a great outside living area. You’ll feel like you can see for miles! However, waterproofing them is very important.
  • Clerestory roofs allow plenty of natural light.
  • Arched roofs have an eye-catching design. These days, curved steel is the most popular arched roof choice.
  • Sawtooth roofs becoming increasingly popular because they allow plenty of daylight to brighten a home.
  • Skillion roofs are sometimes called shed roofs, they’re similar to flat roofs but have a steeper pitch to allow for better drainage.
  • Mansard roofs are a variation of the hip roof. They, too, offer plenty of attic space.
  • Domed roofs are strong, but are unusual and may be the most expensive because they can be complicated to build.
  • Curved roofs, commonly made of steel, provide a softer look for your home.

Roofing systems

Just as there are many different styles of roofs, you have many options in the type of material you choose to top it off. Guess what? We’ve got experience using all of them!

Asphalt shingles

Asphalt shingles are easily the most commonly used residential roofing material in the United States. Moreover, they’re economical and come in a wide variety of colors and styles. The three-tab shingles are the most affordable. However, architectural shingles are more durable, attractive, and more resistant to high winds. Whichever you choose, asphalt shingles are fire resistant and easy to repair. They have a life span of between 15 and 30 years.

Fiberglass shingles

They’re similar to asphalt shingles in size and come in an array of colors, however, fiberglass shingles are lighter in weight and more durable.

Wood shakes

Also known as wood shingles, wood shakes look awesome on homes with a traditional design. They do require more care and maintenance however. Wood shakes last longer than 30 years if well maintained. They are the least fire resistant roofing material though.

Tile roofs

These roofs, often referred to as a “Spanish roof,” are very energy efficient and long lasting. Additionally, they’re resistant to high winds and very durable.

Metal roofs

If you’re into trends, a metal roofing system may be the way to go. They are becoming increasingly popular, especially the standing seam design. Zinc, steel, copper, and aluminum are all available to you. Metal roofs are extremely durable, require little maintenance, and can last more than 50 years! Not only that, they are environmentally friendly and stand up to our tough weather conditions very well.
